The academic program at AUW is based on the firm belief that responsible citizens of the world must be equipped with strong skills in critical thinking, analysis, and communication. The University offers the following programs:

The Access Academy, a year-long pre-collegiate bridge program that provides intensive study of English language studies, mathematics, world history and geography, computers and karate.  The Academy is designed to enable students to acquire the requisite academic preparation to pursue a rigorous University liberal arts education.

The undergraduate program consists of a core curriculum that introduces students to the important modes of thought and reasoning, a major and electives.  Those who complete the undergraduate program earn a B.A. or B.S. degree.  During their undergraduate summers, students will also have the opportunity to engage in summer research projects, international study, and internships with public and private organizations in countries across the region and around the world.

English is the medium of instruction in all AUW programs.

NOTE:

Students accepted to the Access program with full scholarship and who are subsequently accepted into the undergraduate program will be supported throughout the course of their studies at AUW as long as they maintain good academic standing.
